Training for Inter Link Project

Scottish Council of Jewish Communities – Training for Inter Link Project
interlink session

On Wednesday 5 December 2012, staff and volunteers from ACE IT’s outreach project, the Moose in the Hoose, ran a half day training course on helping older people access the benefits of computers, for student volunteers involved with the newly formed Jewish Inter Link project.

This project run by the Scottish Society for Jewish Communities aims to involve local student volunteers to keep older Jewish people in Scotland in touch with family and friends across the globe using Skype, email and the Internet.

Past and present Moose volunteers were also involved in the training and mutual learning was gained across the generations.
